This sports building is an award-winning design where the St Albans Civic Society gave the building an award for "the sensitive use of good quality materials and the adroit arrangement of pitched roofs". This building contains both sports, maths and computing departments for the existing student population.

How we added value

This building had an ambitious fixed budget that could not be exceeded. Working closely with the contractor on all value engineering aspects was challenging yet rewarding when the end result was a compliant education facility that fell within its restraints.
