Professional Indemnity Insurance Update

In recent weeks there has been some speculation over the provision of Professional Indemnity Insurance for Approved Inspectors and indeed for other professions within the construction industry. The market for the provision of PI insurance to Approved Inspectors is regulated by central government and during 2019 some insurers have been reassessing their ability to deliver to such stringent terms and conditions.

Clarke Banks (Building Control) Limited are pleased to reassure both current and future clients, that the company is in full possession of comprehensive PI insurance cover that will enable continued service delivery. Our cover was renegotiated in March 2019 and it was down to the ability of the management team to quickly demonstrate professional and accurate record keeping, suitable monitoring of projects through our CRM system, a zero claims history and the thorough processes which we have in place via our quality manual and operating procedures.

In addition, we are delighted to announce that our building control service has recently been accredited to ISO 9001:2015, proof that we are continuously striving to deliver an excellent service for our customers and always innovating with technology to improve service delivery
across the group.
